San Juan Weavers Guild gave demostrations at the Annual Sheep Dog Trials in Hotchkiss, Colorado. The public was very interested in the carding, weaving, and spinning demonstrations.
The dogs were incredible! It's amazing to watch the sheep being herded around the fields and through posts and into pens. It's a great way to spend a day.

Every year, the SJWG has a yard (in door) sale to pass on some of our stash to each other. This year was outstanding! So much stuff...system overload!

I have finally finished spinning the wool for my project. Now I am ready to wind my warp. Hopefully, all will go well, it's been a while, as I had packed away my loom over a year ago in anticipation of moving. Silly me!

Our Guild's 2009 challenge was to trade postcards with other members and create something, fiber related, inspired by the postcard. This was the postcard I drew:
I have chosen to spin Corriedale wool, which has been dyed Indigo. Probably making a scarf.
